Layout of the festival site

Our map gives you an impression of the dimensions of the extensive festival area. Most campgrounds are situated directly next to the festival area and have a slight gradient, so you can see the big open-air stage and listen to the music from everywhere on the 15 hectare (37 acre) area.

How much is camping at the BoM?
Camping costs EUR5.00 per person + EUR5.00 garbage deposit = EUR10.00.
The garbage deposit will be refunded once you have vacated your camp site, removing all litter, handing in your garbage at the garbage collection point.

The camping ticket may be ordered together with your festival tickets at booking agencies. The camping ticket is only valid together with a festival ticket and will be valid throughout the whole long weekend. There will be no extra charge if you arrive on Monday and stay until Sunday or Monday.

For more information, see menu item TICKETS.

What about the garbage deposit?
The garbage deposit of EUR5.00 is included in your camping tickets. On entering the camp ground, each visitor will be handed an empty garbage bag to collect their rubbish in. Please help to keep the grounds clean by ensuring that no broken glass is left on the ground. This is the only way to guarantee that we will be able to return the garbage deposit to you in the coming years.

How and when will I be refunded the garbage deposit in 2007?
All you have to do is return your full garbage bag to the collection point by Sunday, July 6, 2007, 14:00 hrs at the latest. You will be asked to show and hand in your undamaged camping wristband (still on your arm!) and will be refunded your garbage deposit in full. The bag doesn’t have to be full, but you have to ensure that no litter is left at your pitch. Our aim is not so much a full garbage bag, but as little waste as possible left behind and a clean camp ground for many more festivals to come.

When will the campgrounds be open in 2007?
One of the campgrounds will be open from Monday, July 2, so you’re welcome to arrive earlier.

Where will I find showers and toilets?
There will be permanent shower blocks at the event hall, motorway services and some of the campgrounds. You will find permanent toilet blocks at the motorway services, event hall, Burger King, etc. There will be permanent toilet blocks as well as portaloo toilets at the campgrounds. There will be plenty of sanitary installations for you personal hygiene and human needs, so there really is no reason to take a leak in the bushes.

Will I still find a place to put up my tent if I arrive late?

Our campgrounds are large enough to ensure that you will still find room to put up your tent, even on the festival days. Mind you, spaces have to be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis - so if you’re after a good spot, make sure you get there early.

Will it be possible to reserve a space for my tent?
We regret that reservations will not be possible. We will try to allocate a suitable space for larger groups so you will be able to camp and party together, but you should try and make sure that you arrive together and as early as possible. Please refer to the stewards at the campgrounds and follw their instructions.

Will glass bottles and cans be allowed on the campgrounds?

Officially not, according to our Terms & Conditions, but we have decided not to enforce this rule rigorously with increased checks. In other words: you will be allowed to take glass bottles and cans (no non-returnable soft drinks or beer bottles!) on the campgrounds (but NOT on the festival site!!). Please make sure that no broken glass is left on the ground. Please note that we shall not be liable for possible injuries and damage to persons or property. Glass containers will be brought onto the site at your own risk!
